For the City of Victorville, IEC prepared the SF6 gas switch replacement design for the Southern California Logistics Airport 12kV distribution system. The design replaced seven (7) existing SF6 gas insulated switches with new pad-mount air switches. The design package included the drawings and construction specifications needed for a construction contractor to accurately bid, procure, and construct the new switch installations. Design deliverables included layout drawings, duct bank trench details, wiring details, retaining wall details, foundation details, anchoring details, grounding details, bill of materials, and updated distribution single line.
