In addition to providing owner’s engineering services for SMUD’s Solano Wind Project, IEC has designed various phases of the project and provided engineering review services for every area of the wind project. IEC has performed the following design and design review activities:
IEC has also performed collection system design reviews of the EnXco V Repower Project (GE 1.5 WTGs) to verify suitability for interconnecting with the SMUD-owned substation. Various other substation design projects, breaker replacements, protection upgrades, and substation voltage conversions have also been performed by our staff.
