IEC engineered design change packages for the replacement of two emergency generators and supervised the new installations. The packages replaced a 240kW diesel engine generator at Loon Lake powerhouse with a 360kW Kohler diesel unit, and a 60kW gasoline engine generator at Union Valley with a 140kW Cummins propane unit. The designs interfaced new 24VDC circuits with existing 125VDC control, alarm, and transfer circuits. IEC also generated and conducted test procedures for the auto-start and transfer after loss of offsite power.
