IEC was responsible for the complete interconnect design with the SMUD switchyard/grid for the new 230kV switchyard and 45 MW power plant. This entailed preparing a design package including: DC control schematics, AC schematics, schematics for 230kV breakers, and the relay and panel wiring diagrams as well as the 230kV layout, 230kV single-line diagram, 3- line diagrams, panel equipment layout drawings, and cable and termination schedules.
