Skamania PUD Chooses IEC for Fault Study

Carson, Wash., October 2, 2008 - Skamania County Public Utility District No. 1, located in Carson, Washington, requested that IEC perform an electrical fault study on the 115kV/12.47 kV bus at the Cape Horn Substation, due to the recent replacement of the substation transformer. IEC performed the calculation using both the current BPA fault contribution and an “infinite bus” fault contribution.
