IEC to Provide Project Management for the Tuolumne Wind Project

Sacramento, Calif., February 15, 2008 –The Turlock Irrigation District selected IEC Corporation to provide project management for the Tuolumne Wind Project. IEC will provide due diligence reviews and owner’s engineering on the 137 MW project in Washington State. The project will incorporate both Siemens 2.3 MW and REpower 2.0 MW turbines, a collector substation, 230kV transmission line, and a 15,000 sq. ft. O&M building. The due diligence effort includes reviewing the design and reliability of both turbine platforms, as well as a detailed review of the project contracts and design drawings and specifications. IEC will also provide on-site field engineering support for the project to ensure project quality and compliance with regulatory requirements, and to expedite the construction schedule.
