LADWP Awards IEC with Owner's Engineering Contract for Pine Tree Wind Project

Los Angeles, Calif., November 8, 2006 – The Los Angeles Department of Water and Power has selected IEC Corporation to provide Owner’s Engineering services for its Pine Tree Wind Project near Tehachapi, California.

IEC will provide professional owner’s engineering services to support the Pine Tree Wind Project Balance of Plant (BOP) Request for Proposal development. It will be IEC’s responsibility to perform third-party independent review of the preparation, development, review, and finalization of the Project documents, including engineering and technical conditions and the division of responsibility document. The objective of these services is to assist LADWP during its procurement process to successfully arrive at an agreement with a qualified firm to engineer, procure, and construct the Project BOP’s work scope.
