Renewable Energy: Landfill Gas
Landfill gas (LFG) provides a reliable fuel for a variety of energy applications, including heating, electric power generation, and combined heat-and-power (cogeneration) applications. IEC has the consulting expertise to help clients turn this otherwise wasted energy into savings and/or revenues by utilizing the LFG fuel for power generation. We work with each client to determine the project criteria and potential impediments specific to their circumstances in order to develop an LFG project that will successfully reduce energy use and decrease greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions.
